Raine and a group of volunteers will be walking the San Diego Trans County Trail in mid February. They will be following a 158 mile route from the Salton Sea to the Pacific Ocean, along desert washes, paved roads and everything in between. They will be selling a zine of their writing and art from the trip, with all the proceeds going to the Border Angels.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents made the arrests Tuesday at Sonoma County Superior Court, prompting an outcry from criminal justice and court officials who said the action undermines local authority and deters immigrants who are in the country illegally from participating in the U.S. justice system.
In a continuation of its crackdown on so-called sanctuary cities and states, the Trump administration is planning to use U.S. Border Patrol agents from an elite tactical unit known as "BORTAC" to assist Immigration and Customs Enforcement in detaining undocumented immigrants.
