Commissioners to Vote on Historic Tax Cuts
Led by new County Judge Tim O’Hare, Tarrant County Commissioners will vote on Tuesday August 15th for a budget with a tax rate below the no new revenue rate. The meeting will be held at 10am in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Tarrant County Administration Building. Use this link beginning August 12 to sign up and to speak to the tax rate agenda item.
Gov. Abbott Signs “Save Women’s Sports Act”
“In a ceremony at the Texas Women’s Hall of Fame in Denton, Gov. Greg Abbott signed into law the Save Women’s Sports Act. The new law is designed to protect women’s collegiate sports and competitions from men masquerading as women.”
