It’s no secret: I am a top target in this race. The National Journal just came out with the shortlist of “all-star clashes that might decide the House” and I’m on it. The NRCC is putting money behind one of my opponents and has laid out their strategy to try to defeat me in 2024.
But what they’re not accounting for is how strong our grassroots team is. The Hill’s recent article is right: We’re a force to be reckoned with here in KS-03 and we’re not going to let the anti-abortion extremists in the KS GOP take away our freedoms.
Our success right now is especially imperative because once again abortion is being weighed in Kansas courts. That’s right, once again abortion is under attack in our state.
Electing and keeping pro-choice leaders in power is critical—I will always stand up for all our rights and freedoms. But with this race on track to be as tough as previous ones, we don’t have a moment to waste.
