Dear Friend, My good friend, President Bill Clinton, turns 77 this week. Will you join me in signing his birthday card?
I have been lucky to be a part of so many special celebrations and momentous occasions with President Clinton, including serving as co-chair of his 1996 re-election campaign. This past April, I was honored to join him in Northern Ireland, where we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement, an accord that has brought a lasting commitment to peace to a region that suffered through decades of turmoil. The president has always believed in the power of diplomacy. His optimism and faith in others to come together and do the right thing is a powerful force. |

As President Clinton has wisely said: “We cannot build our own future without helping others to build theirs.” He is a person who keeps going, who keeps on giving his time, energy, and ideas to increase the good in the world. It’s what he was born to do, and it’s why I cherish his friendship and honor his legacy today. You can honor him as well with a special birthday message. |
Yes, most of the time, my friend is focused on others. Let’s focus on him today. Please sign President Clinton’s card. Leave a note for him to read. I know it’ll mean the world to him to hear from those who support the Foundation and share his vision. Sincerely and in celebration of a great man and dear friend, Terry McAuliffe
