As you may know, last week WOLA, alongside our partner organization KINO Border Initiative (KBI), published an extensive report highlighting persistent human rights violations at the U.S.-Mexico border with little to no accountability for Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) officers. Additionally, our report provides over 40 recommendations for more effective complaint procedures, thorough investigations, proper disciplinary actions, robust oversight mechanisms, and a shift in organizational culture.

In addition to the launch of our report, we hosted a virtual webinar with KBI discussing at length the report's creation process, its significance, and the potential impact it could have on shaping U.S. policies. |
