This year the Young Democrats of North Carolina's Labor Caucus will be traveling to Canton to join them in their Labor Day celebrations this September 4th. This year the Labor Caucus has energized YDNC and brought back a spirit of fight for our laborers and workers in North Carolina, and we continue to build momentum.
In the last three years, Canton has been through a pandemic, flood, and recently lost their largest employer, any of which alone could shake a community's faith. We’re going to be present with the good people there to show they’re not alone and that we have their backs as they take hold of the future.
Our goal is to fund our members from across the state to make the trip to Canton and celebrate together the successes of organized labor by marching alongside the people of Canton in solidarity.
