Another Week, Another Endorsement

Hoosiers appreciate results. It's why coalitions of Hoosiers from across the state are coming together to pledge their support for Governor Eric Holcomb, a leader who listens carefully and keeps his promises.

First, he earned the endorsement of those Hoosiers who stand on the thin blue line to keep us all safe -- the more than 2,000 active and retired state troopers who are members of the Indiana State Police Alliance.

Next, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce -- Indiana's largest, broad-based business advocacy group -- endorsed Governor Holcomb.

Then last week, he received the endorsement of a group that's literally building Indiana, the 2,700 member companies (which employ 350,000 Hoosiers!) of the Indiana Builders Association.

And then this week, I'm so excited to share that Governor Holcomb earned the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) and its 12,000 small and independent business members throughout the state!

It does feel like another week, another endorsement (check them all out here). But really, these endorsements represent the work Governor Holcomb has taken on since Day One as governor, and the work he'll continue with another four years.

It takes a full team to win an election, and Governor Holcomb is thankful to have the support of so many Hoosiers, including you.

Governor Holcomb's Week That Was

Honoring Hoosiers Making a Difference

Earlier this week, Governor Holcomb attended events that honored Hoosiers who are making a difference across Indiana! Governor Holcomb attended the Lugar Series Annual Luncheon, spoke to the NFIB (and earned their endorsement!) and attended his first Lincoln Day Dinner of 2020!

  • Governor Holcomb was excited to attend the 30th Annual Lugar Series Luncheon. At the event, Governor Holcomb was honored to award Sagamores of the Wabash, Indiana’s highest civilian honor, to Teresa Lubbers and Judy Singleton. These women helped found the organization.
  • Governor Holcomb has always fought for and supported Hoosier small businesses, which is why he joined them for their Small Business Day to give a few remarks and accept their endorsement.
  • Governor Holcomb also attended his first Lincoln Day Dinner of 2020 in Marion County’s Perry Township! Our grassroots Republican teams are the difference-makers leading the way to historic election victories. Their hard work allows your Indiana Republican Party to continue fighting for all Hoosiers.

It takes a strong statewide team of Hoosiers to keep Indiana on the winning track! That’s why Governor Holcomb is proud to honor those Hoosiers who are making a difference and are helping him continue Putting People First!

Chairman Hupfer Addresses the Lugar Series

This year, the Lugar Series celebrated its 30th year of getting women involved in government and politics!

Earlier this week, Indiana GOP Chairman Kyle Hupfer addressed the Lugar Series Annual Luncheon. At the luncheon, he discussed the success of the organization in helping women build leadership skills and develop a network to support their runs for office and leadership in government. The Indiana Republican Party is committed to continuing to grow the diversity within our party’s ranks, and the Lugar Series remains a key partner in making that goal a reality.

It Might be February, But...

Your Indiana Republican team is already out knocking on doors and talking to voters in February! The early work we put in now will be the difference-maker in the fall for President Trump, Vice President Pence, Governor Holcomb, and our entire Republican team.

South Bend Residents Warn America About Pete Buttigieg

In case you missed it, the New York Post this week went to South Bend to talk to a few people about Pete Buttigieg’s real record in the city. Here’s the short version: It wasn’t good.

They also spoke to Indiana Republican Party Chairman Kyle Hupfer about his record and here’s a preview -- “I know I would much rather have 10 fewer homicides than a light display.”

Happy Birthday, First Lady Janet Holcomb!

Last Sunday, First Lady Janet Holcomb celebrated her birthday! We’re so thankful for her work alongside Governor Eric Holcomb serving Hoosiers, and hope she had a great day!
