This week, March For Our Lives co-founder David Hogg reached out to you
about his decision to launch a historic organization devoted to electing a
historic wave of young Democrats to office who will act on gun violence,
corruption, climate, guns, and more (with a particular focus on the state
and local level where the GOP has had a historic edge).

We’re proud to work alongside him and so many grassroots activists and
organizers. To date, we’ve supported nearly 500 Democratic scientists and
healthcare professionals at all levels of government in 49 states (and
we’re the only organization that does so!):
There’s now more scientists in office than at any point in our country’s
history and our candidates have won the toughest races for House, Senate,
Governor, state legislature, and school board. But we’re just getting
started.

The vast majority of Americans believe our elected officials are out of
touch, with many Party leaders and Committee chairs older than 80. It’s
