I know you’re busy, so I’ll cut right to the chase. Here’s what’s at stake in Louisiana’s upcoming gubernatorial election:

1. Healthcare – I’m not just planning on preserving Louisiana’s Medicaid expansion, but also continuing to strengthen qualifications for Medicaid services
2. Worker wages – We must raise wages so that working people across Louisiana — the backbone of our state economy — can afford the basics at home
3. Public education – The GOP’s attack on public education is unprecedented. We must trust and support the student-teacher relationship without limitations

I know we can win this race, tackle these priorities, and show everyone that Democrats CAN keep winning in the South.

But I can’t do it alone. It will take strong Democrats in Louisiana and beyond working together to beat the GOP, especially since Donald Trump endorsed our leading opponent.
