Dear friend,

I’ll be honest, in all my years at Fairness Project, we have never seen this amount of attention or spending on a ballot measure focused on revising the ballot measure process. And I can tell you, it’s not because our opponents care about the importance of direct democracy in our elections.

The fact is that Issue 1’s sole purpose was to stop Ohio voters from gaining reproductive freedom. And voters sent a clear message that they won’t be fooled and won’t back down until the right to a safe, legal abortion is enshrined in the state’s constitution.

This special election proves once again that politicians shouldn’t have a say in what decisions we make with our bodies — we will.

But make no mistake, team, those that want to stand in our way are not giving up. They have lost this fight, but they are getting ready to double down in November. We cannot lose ground now with so much on the line.

Now, we must keep up the momentum to make sure that no matter what our opponents in Ohio throw our way, we're ready for it. That’s why we’re throwing every resource we can behind this movement to protect reproductive freedom in Ohio, and team, we’d love to have your support alongside us. If you’re with us in the fight to power this campaign to victory, please contribute $25 now to help us win again in Ohio this November.

Thank you for stepping up, friend. We can win this.,
