Suicide attacks are the Islamic State-Khorasan Province's deadliest tactic in Pakistan. Since 2016, ISKP has conducted at least 15 suicide attacks in Pakistan, killing over 550 people. Of those, 10 attacks targeting civilians were the deadliest, killing 50 on average.

Indonesia has sought to maintain balance in its relations with Washington and Beijing, but China has risen to the top of the public’s threat perception. 49 percent of survey respondents believed that China poses a threat to Indonesia over the next 10 years.
