When Joe asked me to join his campaign’s National Advisory Board, I knew right away how important it was to step up and amplify the great work Joe and Kamala are doing to help families across the country thrive.

The Inflation Reduction Act is a perfect example. It’s a once-in-a-generation piece of legislation that aims to lower health care costs, tackle the climate crisis, and invest in American manufacturing, all while not raising taxes on the middle class.

Here’s a quick rundown of what this legislation has done in the year since Joe signed it into law:

➡️ Capped the cost of insulin to $35 for seniors on Medicare

➡️ Took the most aggressive action ever in confronting the climate crisis and strengthening our energy security

➡️ Helped hardworking families save hundreds of dollars a year on energy costs thanks to new tax credits and rebates
