Lesko Leads Letter to Protect Arizona Energy

I led a bipartisan letter to the Western Area Power Administration to ensure all Arizonans receive quality, reliable energy. “Arizonans deserve stability and consistency when it comes to energy resources, I am grateful for my Arizona colleagues who realize the importance of bringing this issue to the forefront.” See more here.

GET THE FACTS: Biden Border Crisis

Since the Biden Administration took office, the illegal immigrant population in the United States has increased by 16% and it continues to rise. In Arizona alone, border crossings in July spiked over 100%, 135% in the Tucson area, since June. President Biden’ radical open border policies and the repeated failures of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas are to blame.

Attention Veterans!

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has extended the PACT Act intent to file deadline to Monday, August 14, 2023, after significant technical issues. The VA has successfully logged each intent to file – meaning that every Veteran or survivor who has received an error message while applying can consider their intent to file complete. Our office is working to contact these individuals to confirm that their intent to file will be honored. We encourage all Veterans and their survivors who have not yet done so to apply here.

Casework Highlight

A constituent contacted our office after being approved for Social Security Income Disability, but was unable to get the Social Security Administration to start her payment. Our office was able to contact the Social Security Administration, inquire about the status of her payment, and start her monthly benefits as well as any back payments owed.

Mobile Office Hours

Our office is hosting Mobile Office Hours on Monday, August 14, 2023, at the Foothills Library Hummingbird Room in Glendale, AZ from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM AZ Time. Our casework team is ready to answer your questions and assist you with federal agencies.
