​ John, Trump disregarded the oath he swore to stand by as he cultivated a vindictive plan in an attempt to overthrow the 2020 elections.

Accepting the will of the American people through elections is a pillar of our democracy. Finally, we’re seeing some accountability for his actions to overthrow democracy.

But while that’s happening, we know: The constant spread of lies from right-wing extremists will not stop with 2020—the attempts to undermine our elections continue each and every day.

Leaders who deliberately incite violence, conspire against elections, and disseminate misinformation have no place in our democracy. We must be prepared for attacks against our elections in 2024 so we can fight back.
