Dear John,

I’m very excited to be out on the campaign trail and hearing so much positive feedback on the doorstep from people in Brighton, but we can’t take anything for granted.

I know that the Labour Party is desperate to take away the Green Party’s vital voice in Parliament.

But, as Labour’s leader shifts further and further away from his promises on action to stop climate chaos - and abandons pledge after pledge on social justice - Greens need to work harder than ever to maintain our voice in Westminster and hold them to account.

I am ready to continue Caroline Lucas’ legacy. I have got the experience, passion, and determination to do this.

But I urgently need help to get our message out - we need to raise another £30,000 to support the recruitment of my Campaign Manager and give us the best chance of winning at the General Election.

John, without a Campaign Manager maximising our impact, I am worried that the Labour campaign will reach more people than we can with the negative messages and spin it is trying to get away with.

Can you help me make sure every voter in Brighton Pavilion hears my hopeful and positive messages instead? You can do this today by becoming my Green MP Campaign Partner and investing in our most effective campaign team ever.

Our first MP, Caroline Lucas, has made a huge impact as the loudest voice in Parliament for our brilliant Green values and ideas. As her colleague and her friend, I am honoured to continue her legacy.

John, please give a donation of whatever you can afford to help get our Campaign Manager appointed and working hard to keep Brighton Pavilion Green.

A huge thank you for your support,
Sian Berry

P.S I hope you will come and join me on Brighton’s doorsteps for a fantastic weekend of campaigning on 2 and 3 September. I am so looking forward to meeting you, John!
