Last Congress, I supported the Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act of 2022. This legislation has already delivered $1.85 billion in expanded healthcare benefits to veterans and survivors.

To be eligible for maximum backpay, veterans and survivors must apply by 11:59 PM ET on Monday, August 14, 2023. Those who apply by this deadline will be eligible to have their benefits backdated to August 10, 2022 – the day the PACT Act became law.
