Friends,

A year ago this week, we passed the Inflation Reduction Act in the Senate.

This critical policy is the largest climate investment in U.S. history — with ten times more climate impact than any other piece of legislation.

We are already seeing the Inflation Reduction Act’s impact with advancements in clean energy, lower costs, and investments in good-paying jobs.

Earlier this week, President Joe Biden came to New Mexico, and we visited a facility that this legislation made possible, the Arcosa Wind Tower Facility in Belén. This wind tower manufacturing location will provide hundreds of careers for New Mexicans and help build the middle class in our state.

We are also welcoming the Maxeon Solar Technologies Solar cell and module manufacturing facility to New Mexico, which is the second clean energy manufacturing facility to open since the Inflation Reduction Act became law.

We are one incredible step closer to a clean energy future and an economy that works for all New Mexicans.

I was proud to help write this legislation that made these advancements a reality and celebrate just a few of our many achievements so far with President Biden. This is only the beginning. I look forward to championing more wins from the Inflation Reduction Act in the months to come.

Thank you,

Martin
