Dear Friend,

Last night, a winter storm rolled through the areas served by PETA's
fieldworkers, dropping inches of snow and leaving "backyard dogs" cold, wet, and
shivering.

That's why our team is out delivering custom-built PETA doghouses and insulating
straw bedding as quickly as possible to dogs who have nothing but a plastic
barrel or scrap of wood to protect them during the chilly nights to come. We must
get help to every dog who needs it.

Please make a much-needed gift to sponsor a doghouse now and help ensure that we
have the resources necessary to reach as many cold dogs as we can.

When our fieldworkers find dogs kept chained or penned outdoors, they beg the
owners to allow the animals indoors. Unfortunately, most people they encounter
in the field refuse to do so, so our fieldworkers always do all that they can to
keep the dogs safe and protected from the elements.

It only costs $265 to supply a doghouse for a dog in need. Your support today
will help us reach more animals in the wake of this snowfall, allowing our
fieldworkers to provide them with shelter, care, and some relief from a sad life
sentence chained outside.

Please don't wait to sponsor a doghouse—dogs depend on our help.
