Last week, the Huntington Beach City Council proposed new elections rules – based on the Arizona laws which led to rampant voter intimidation and disenfranchisement – that would make it harder for folks to vote. I shared my concerns and demanded better from the City Council.
And in response, my GOP opponent just attacked me in a rambling op-ed, riddled with MAGA talking points, to try to discredit the integrity of our elections in Orange County and across California.
The GOP knows that I’ll always fight tooth and nail to safeguard our freedoms and stand up against the bogus Trump claims that the 2020 election was stolen.
Now, they’re coming after me because they know I can win and keep CA-47 blue — and this race is the top target for Republicans in 2024.
