It doesn't have to cost a fortune if you do it right.
One of the most common reasons people give me for not being prepped
isn't that they think I'm a whackadoodle with my tinfoil too tight. It
isn't because they can't imagine bad things happening.
It's that they don't believe they can afford it.
Now there are definitely extreme situations - like the ones that cause
you to crack into your preps in the first place - in which prepping is a
goal as opposed to a current way of life.
But for the rest of us, those of us who go grocery shopping each week
and bring home a cart full of food, with just a few modifications you
could be building a massive stockpile to see you through the rough
parts. In fact, this new way of shopping can actually save you a ton of
money.

As we go into harvest season, everyone knows that the farmers have had a
terrible year. Add to that, the food imported from China has had a
massive tarriff tacked on. (No, I'm not telling you to eat food from
China. But the people buying the food from China will now have no other
choice than to eat the food you were going to buy.) The cost of food is
going to go up, so you will save a bundle if you buy food for tomorrow
at today's prices.
I hope you have a great start to your week!
