Here’s what’s at stake:
First: In 2017 and 2019, our grassroots movement helped flip the governor’s seat and state legislature blue. As a result, Virginia Democrats were able to pass progressive legislation to protect voting rights, promote fair redistricting, defend the right to choose, and more.
But then: In 2021, MAGA Republicans elected Governor Glenn Youngkin and took back control of the Virginia House of Delegates.
And now: Virginia Republicans have the chance to take full control of state government – they only need to flip two senate seats in November.
That means: We need to get to work now to stop MAGA extremists from rolling back our progress in Virginia and states across the country!
