It’s been a busy summer! Sorry we're behind in our reporting, but we've just spent so much time in the field, and working on putting together our evidence for law enforcement and county boards. The cockfighting season has mostly ended for now, and rodeos are in full swing! We are going to events one, two and sometimes three times a week! The animal abuse never ends, and rarely does law enforcement personnel do their job.

Below, and in future emails, we will go into detail on some of the cases we have been working on

At the end of the cockfighting season,”the grand jury indicted six people Thursday in connection with the pit at Isom, which was known as American Testing Facility or the Whitesburg Chicken Pit, according to the indictment. Those indicted were Robert Dwayne Baker, Brandon Honeycutt, Chris Prater, Virgil G. Saylor, Tina M. Miller and Henry Locke.” You can read the complete story here. ([link removed])

We’ve also been in close contact with the head of Animal Control in Delaware after SHARK exposed a cockfight on May 6, 2023. The local prosecutor was dragging his feet and refusing to press charges against these cowardly criminals. However, after yet another push from us and our supporters in a “Call to Action” social media post on August 4, the prosecutor has seemingly now agreed to press charges!

A few weeks ago SHARK posted ahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRt1gNftzkgvideo ([link removed]) on our YouTube channel of a visit SHARK President Steve Hindi, and SHARK Vice-President Mike Kobliska made to the headquarters of the Illinois Department of Agriculture, which is the agency tasked with administering the Illinois Humane Care for Animals Act. Steve and Mike wanted to discuss the issue of animals horribly abused at Mexican-style rodeos in blatant violation of Illinois humane law. While they were there, deputy director Kristi Jones falsely claimed that Steve had threatened her and her people. She made her threat claim three times. Fortunately, Steve and Mike had cameras rolling for the encounter, so we can prove that Kristi Jones’ accusation is false.

The only threat Kristi Jones was feeling was the threat that she and her staff of fellow grifters might actually have to do something for their pay. Illinois Governor JB Pritzker has filled the Department of Agriculture with political hacks who are as lazy and incompetent as Deputy Director Kristi Jones, who is willing to try intimidation to avoid real work.

Now, in a bizarre attempt to make SHARK leave the Department of Agriculture alone, it mailed a letter to Steve telling him he is barred from the property of the Illinois State Fairgrounds, which is where the Dept. of Ag. is located, until January 1, 2027! We will fight this nonsensical and illegitimate order, and we'll update you as there are developments.

If you hear the name JB Pritzker, especially as a candidate for president, please remember these images, because this is what JB Pritzker is knowingly allowing to continue, and allowing his Department of Agriculture to ignore, in clear violation of Illinois law.
