The families that suffer the most from lack of access are in our rural communities, communities of color, and vulnerable families across our state.
As the only member of Congress from Alabama who voted for the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that has brought more than $1 BILLION to our state to expand broadband access, we’re so grateful to have her working in DC for us.
Add your name now if you’re proud of what Terri’s done for us in Congress and if you agree that we can’t stop until every household in our state has access to affordable, reliable, high-speed broadband coverage→ [[link removed]]

Begin forwarded message from Terri Sewell:
Our critical infrastructure needs have gone unaddressed and neglected for far too long.
16.8% of Alabama households live in areas where there is no stable broadband infrastructure, and 18.4% of Alabama households do not have an internet subscription at all.
Millions of households in our country are in broadband deserts, but especially communities of color, households in rural areas, and low-income households, meaning they lack access to reliable and affordable connectivity.
We MUST continue to work to close the digital divide in Alabama. Add your name if you agree that we need to ensure adequate broadband access for ALL our communities. [[link removed]]

As the only House member from Alabama to vote in favor of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law last year, I’m proud to announce that this summer, our state was allocated $1.4 billion to expand our broadband access.
Broadband infrastructure is so critical to making sure Alabamians can do their jobs, participate in school learning, access healthcare, and stay connected.
Access to reliable high-speed internet is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. Sign on now if you agree that we need to continue investing to provide greater access for our state. [[link removed]]

To date, Alabama has been awarded nearly $2 BILLION to expand broadband infrastructure. These investments are a game changer for our state and our communities.
I will continue to work to make sure every household in the state of Alabama has access to universal, reliable, high-speed, affordable broadband coverage.
Thanks for your support,
Terri Sewell
