Congressman Jim Banks joins Chairman Kyle Hupfer and RNC National Committeewoman Anne Hathaway onstage after Chairman Hupfer announced Indiana's Republican National Committee (RNC) members had signed a letter allowing the RNC to provide pre-primary support. |
Last night, over 800 Republicans from across the state came together in to celebrate our party's proud history, prepare for the fights ahead this year and next, and solidify the long-term strength of our party.
We heard from Bowie, Maryland Mayor Pro Tem Roxy Ndebumadu and honored the third graduating cohort of the Indiana Republican Diversity Leadership Series, bringing in another group of outstanding leaders into the party who are spreading our message and ideals into their communities where Republicans have been underrepresented for far too long. This cohort and those before it are already making a difference, and I'm confident that some will join the ranks of elected officials we celebrated last night.
We also heard from Congressman Jim Banks, but not before making an unprecedented announcement.
As state party chair, I serve as a member of the Republican National Committee (RNC) alongside Anne Hathaway and John Hammond. Before bringing Congressman Banks onstage, I announced that the three of us had signed a letter under the RNC's Rule 11 to allow the RNC to provide "any and all pre-primary financial assistance and in-kind aid the RNC may choose to provide in furtherance of the United States Senate candidacy of Congressman Jim Banks." It's clear that Congressman Banks is the conservative choice and we look forward to him taking the fight for our conservative Hoosier values to the U.S. Senate as Indiana’s next U.S. Senator! |

| Throughout my six and a half years serving as the chairman of the Indiana Republican Party, we've had an incredible team working night and day to elect Republicans up and down the ballot across the state.
I truly believe that we have the strongest state party in the country, and that our team, which has been led by Executive Director Matt Huckleby for the entirety of my tenure, is unmatched.
Today is Matt's last day at the Indiana Republican Party. Thank you, Matt, for everything you have done for the party and for Republicans across the state. — Kyle and Your Team at the Indiana Republican Party |
💰 Fox News: House GOP Release Bank Records on Hunter Biden Payments from Russian, Kazakh Oligarchs, Total Clears $20M |
From Fox News:
House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., released a third memo Wednesday about the Biden family’s foreign business dealings, producing bank records purporting to show that Hunter Biden and his business associates received millions in payments from Russian and Kazakhstani oligarchs when his father was vice president. The 19-page memo, which provides screenshots of redacted bank records, says millions in payments came from Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings, as well as Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina and Kazakhstani oligarch Kenes Rakishev, and that then-Vice President Biden attended dinners with Baturina, Rakishev and a representative from Burisma.
"Then-Vice President Biden met—in person, for significant periods of time—with those individuals or their representatives," the memo states. "Then-Vice President Biden joined approximately 20 phone calls on speakerphone with Hunter Biden’s foreign business associates and attended dinners with foreign oligarchs who paid huge sums of money to Hunter Biden. Joe Biden, ‘the brand,’ was the only product the Bidens sold." Story continues. |
💡 Democrats Forget How They Voted
|
The Indiana Democrat Party and Democrats in the statehouse seem to have forgotten how they voted on key bills this past legislative session.
Catch up: Over the past couple weeks, the Indiana Democrat Party has attempted to attack statehouse Republicans on multiple issues, seemingly forgetting that their members voted against solutions to those very issues. -
On child care, all but two statehouse Democrats voted against establishing a tax credit to help expand child care across the state.
-
On clean water, all but two statehouse Democrats voted against a 500% increase for Clean Water Indiana.
-
On Pre-K, all but two statehouse Democrats voted against expanding eligibility for the program, making thousands of more Hoosier families eligible.
The icing on the cake: Democrat State Senator Andrea Hunley sent out a taxpayer-funded mailer saying she was proud of what "we" were able to accomplish this past legislative session. -
The problem? She joined all but two statehouse Democrats in voting against everything she listed, including funding for a homeless shelter, eliminating textbook fees, doubling the amount of funding for food banks, and creating an economic enhancement district for downtown Indianapolis.
Statehouse Republicans are the ones delivering for Hoosiers. |
👀 ICYMI: NBC News: Note Cards and Shorter Stairs: How Biden's Campaign is Addressing His Age |
From NBC News:
"The president of the United States tripping and falling is never a good moment in the throes of a re-election campaign. But when the president is 80 years old and already faces concerns that he’s too old for another term, it’s something of a crisis ...
"Biden’s answer to voters who question whether he’s up to the rigors of a second term is simple: 'Watch me.' The trouble is, voters are watching, and what they’re seeing is hardening impressions that it’s time for him to step aside, polling shows. Apart from being the most taxing job on the world stage, the presidency is also the most public, and signs of advancing age are tough to miss."
