The DNC is the only party committee responsible for electing Democrats up and down the ballot -- from local office to the Oval Office. We do that by sending resources to state parties, who then can use the funds to invest in local elections in their communities. They can also make long-term investments in important programs like voter protection services or hiring more staff. Why is this important? Because winning local elections not only helps us build progress locally, but it also helps set the groundwork and infrastructure we need to win larger statewide and national elections now and long into the future.

By pitching in today, you’re helping make sure our partners on the ground have everything they need to maintain a strong presence in their states.

If we’re going to win key races all over the country, then we need to invest now. When we say that pitching in $7 now goes further than the same amount given this time next year, we really mean it.
