As you may have heard, Senator Rolfes is leaving the legislature. We couldn't be more grateful for the decade she spent serving Washingtonians in the state Senate!

Senator Rolfes' steadfast leadership on the Ways and Means committee delivered budgets with historic investments supporting our public schools and addressing the state’s housing crisis. Prior to her budget leadership role, Sen. Rolfes chaired the K-12 Education committee, and was instrumental in overhauling public education in our state and finally making significant progress towards fulfilling the legislature’s paramount duty to fully-fund our schools. And, she’s been a leader in protecting our orcas, cleaning up the Puget Sound, and preventing the wildfires that devastate our state. Her work protecting our people and our planet has been transformational.
