Hi John – we have been hard at work registering voters around Pennsylvania and wanted to fill you in!

On July 24, we attended the Naturalization ceremonies at Dauphin County Court House, where we not only witnessed new citizens of the United States receive their Certificate of Citizenship and take their oath but also assisted these citizens in registering to vote and in turn, participating in our democracy.

Then, on July 29, we headed to The Roots concert in Harrisburg! We set up a tent and helped fellow concertgoers register to vote. These are just examples of the community events we’ve hit up recently in Dauphin County to ensure that folks are engaged, informed, and ready to cast their ballots in the critical upcoming election in November.

Overall, through these events, we helped to register more than 50 new voters. And we have no plans to slow down! Your support will help us continue our voter registration efforts to expand the electorate centering Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, immigrant communities, and the youth across ALL of Pennsylvania.

As we get ready for back-to-school season, will you support our work to ensure we can host more community events not only in Dauphin County but in all of our focus regions across Pennsylvania?
