Friend,

The economic impacts of the pandemic, inflation, and more have hit the wallets of our working families. Democrats in Congress have spent the last three years working tirelessly to ensure we do everything possible to remove any unnecessary financial burdens from your budgets.

That's why this administration has been hyper-focused on removing confusing and secret junk fees from everyday items and services and getting that money back in your pocket.

A $100 concert ticket becomes $128
A $200 flight becomes $275
A $14 burger becomes $30

Americans spend $65 million annually on junk fees. And we are working to cut that. By eliminating bank fees for returned checks, capping specific credit card fees at $8, capping the price of prescription drugs, and lowering event ticketing fees and hotel resort fees, we are making real progress on cracking down on these fees and getting your money back for what matters.

While Republicans in Congress are shrinking SNAP participant eligibility and trying to cut 22% of veterans’ health care funding, Democrats are laser-focused on passing legislation that benefits our working families. And if we win back the House in 2024, we can go even farther faster.

With your support, we can continue to crack down on yet another example of corporate greed and continue our work prioritizing the needs of working families.
