Hi, friend, I’m Bradley Whitford. You may know me from my role on The West Wing, but I actually became a card-carrying SAG-AFTRA union member almost 40 years ago. 

In that time, my industry, like so many others, has seen profits grow exponentially – but its executives, not workers, are reaping the benefits. That’s part of the reason why actors and writers are on strike right now, and why there’s a growing commitment to the labor movement across our country.

At this moment, it’s more important than ever to elect pro-union representatives at every level of government. So today, I’m asking you to join me in supporting one of the union movement’s strongest allies: Sen. Sherrod Brown.

I was proud to join Sherrod on the campaign trail in Ohio back in 2018, and I’m ready to do everything I can to help him win this time around – but I need you to join me. It’s already clear this race will be a lot tougher than last time. Experts are calling Sherrod one of the most vulnerable incumbents on the ballot, and polls show his race is in a dead heat.

Even worse, Sherrod, who has spent his whole career fighting for working families, is up against multiple self-funding millionaire opponents. We can’t let one of these millionaires buy this seat, and I mean it when I say your grassroots support could be the difference between winning and losing.
