CBS News Acknowledges: Biden's Policies are a "Historic Expansion" of Immigration

Labels it "legal immigration," but programs are at least an abuse of power.

Dear John,

Finally, a Big-Three TV network news bureau is partly acknowledging that Pres. Biden's immigration policies are responsible for the largest-ever expansion of immigration, referencing 540,000 migrants who will be allowed without qualifying for any visas. The party line has been that Biden's policies have not caused any surge.

Pres. Biden is using his authority to "parole" these migrants, completely abusing immigration laws. The parole authority allows the administration to admit migrants without visas if doing so is on the basis of "urgent humanitarian reasons" or "significant public benefit." Biden's plan is not at all what Congress intended!

Significant public benefit? Even mayor of New York Eric Adams has complained, "The city is being destroyed by the migrant crisis!"

Still, Pres. Biden's lackeys in the press have been saying things such as "Biden's parole program is the immigration success story we've been waiting for." That's an actual op-ed headline published in The Hill.

NumbersUSA is pointing out the harm done by massive levels of uncontrolled immigration, including to minority communities. Our "Back of the Hiring Line" initiative explains to thought leaders how Black economic progress has been set back decades by massive, uncontrolled immigration. And we've been teaching policymakers not to try to ingratiate themselves to Hispanics who are already American citizens and can legally vote by supporting illegal immigration and future immigration. (In fact, as Jim Robb reports in Political Migrants: Hispanic Voters on the Move, Hispanic citizens want reduced immigration as much as anyone else.)

Since we were founded, we've been pointing out that the best way to handle illegal immigration is to make sure new hires are authorized to work in the United States. There is such a program, E-Verify, but it's not mandatory in most states. We're pushing the Senate to pass H.R. 2, which would make E-Verify mandatory, as well as ending Pres. Biden's immigration policies.

And with the gridlock in Congress, we're also helping states pass their own E-Verify laws. We just won in Florida, one of the states with the most illegal aliens. And we've just drawn up a massive playbook to pass E-Verify laws across the nation.

This immigration crisis brought on by Pres. Biden is as bad as anything we've ever seen. In the past, we've stone-cold stopped numerous attempts to pass new laws to give amnesty or legally bring in massive numbers of previously unauthorized aliens. But today, our opposition has resorted to bypassing Congress altogether.
