Help bring solar power to your state during our "Hour of Action!"
Event invite

Hi John,

Did you know that the EPA is awarding $7 billion to states interested in solar power? It’s a big win for the environment and an even bigger win for your community! But to bring this funding back home, states and cities need to apply — that’s where you come in.

On Monday, August 14th, EDF Action is teaming up with Climate Changemakers and Representative Sharice Davids to help you expand community and residential solar initiatives in your state. All you need to do is attend our online “Hour of Action” series and we’ll provide a warm welcome, expert advice and all of the resources you need to send powerful messages to leaders in your state.

Join us for our online kickoff onAugust 14th and receive all the tools necessary to help your state officials take advantage of this new federal program. With your help we can bring clean, renewable energy to all 50 states!

Whether you're a seasoned advocate or brand new to political action, this opportunity is for you. Our online “Hour of Action” series will provide the tools and training necessary to enact transformative climate policy. Here’s how it all breaks down:

  • The first 10 minutes: Hop online and join the Zoom! We’ll take time to make introductions and explain the opportunity. Our partners have even developed a special “Action Playbook” just for you.

  • The next 45 minutes: We’ll spend most of the session working our way through an Action Playbook together. Every advocate can move at their own pace, leaning on the group for accountability and inspiration, while the host is there to answer questions and share their experiences.

  • The final 5 minutes: Our Hour of Action ends with a brief reflection and share-back. And then we’re done by the 60-minute mark. Easy. You’ll end the call having accomplished something meaningful and that’s an incredible feeling.

We know your time is valuable, so we plan to make the most of it! Join EDF Action and Climate Changemakers next Monday, August 14th and together we’ll make a world of a difference!

We’ll see you there!
