Good news! Shop Maryland Tax-Free Week is fast approaching!

SHOP MARYLAND TAX-FREE WEEK AUGUST 13-19

Here are a few things you should know:

→ Shop Maryland Tax-Free week begins on Sunday, August 13th and runs through Saturday, August 19th!

→ Any clothes and shoes that cost $100 or less will be exempt from Maryland’s sales tax this week.

→ The first $40 of any backpack will also be exempt from the sales tax!

As families across the state prepare to head back to school, Shop Maryland Tax-Free Week is an excellent opportunity for all our residents to save on their purchases.

I hope you take advantage of this opportunity to shop tax-free, and I encourage you to support small businesses and local retailers this week as well!
