Really quick: our campaign – and Democrats across the country – are facing what we call a “summer slump.”

This slowdown in fundraising is a big deal with a grassroots campaign like ours because a lot of what we raise comes from emails just like this one.

But the difference with Lisa and other candidates is that Black women candidates on average raise just one-third as much money as white women.
