Dear Friend,
I wanted to check in and make sure you know about this exciting opportunity. There's still time for you to join our special $600,000 Matching Gift Challenge and make 2X the impact in the fight to end Alzheimer's disease.
You're such an important member of our community — a friend who inspires us to strive for a cure. Chances are good that you, like me, have experienced the devastation of Alzheimer's in your own community, and with people you know and care about. I'm sure you understand that the number of people with Alzheimer's is increasing each year, and our own risk is growing as we age. It's never been more urgent to fight this cruel disease with everything we have.
We don't want to leave a single dollar of this match on the table. Every donation is crucial to continuing our important work, and we're counting on compassionate people like you to help us get there. We're getting closer to our goal every day, but we still need your help.
Timing is critical. Longtime supporters and Alzheimer's Association Zenith Society members, Dick and Marianne Kipper, have pledged to match every donation we receive during this challenge — up to $600,000 — but we must raise the same amount by September 30.
Their generous gift will help drive Alzheimer's research forward, while your contribution can be matched to help provide care and support to those affected and accelerate research into the search for a cure.
Friend, this is an incredible opportunity to have your first gift matched and make twice the impact with just one donation.
You can make 2X the difference with one gift and make your support go even further. |

I'd like to thank you for showing interest in this fight. Kind people like you help drive our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. That's why I'm hoping you'll make your first gift today — while your support can be matched to have an even greater impact.
We're at a critical moment in our fight to end Alzheimer's. The number of Americans affected by this disease is rising, destroying lives and devastating families. Maybe you have someone in your life living with Alzheimer's or another dementia. If so, you know the toll it takes.
Witnessing the decline of a loved one's memories, personality and independence is truly heartbreaking. Caregivers face immense challenges, as they provide constant support and care, often sacrificing their own well-being.
But there is light ahead.
Two Food and Drug Administration-approved treatments are already making a difference for some people living with early Alzheimer's by targeting one of the underlying causes of the disease. Additional clinical trials are underway, offering hope for even more effective treatments in the future.
While this is a tremendous step forward, the Alzheimer's Association's work is far from done. We won't rest until everyone living with Alzheimer's — at any stage — can get the treatment, care and support they need and deserve.
For people living with early Alzheimer's, access to these treatments is crucial. We cannot let any barrier — whether it's related to cost, coverage, logistics or lack of knowledge — come between those living with this devastating disease and the essential care they need to help slow the progression of the disease. We want to ensure that these and other emerging treatments are accessible and affordable for all people.
But we can't do it without you.
Friend, generous supporters from all across the country have stepped up to help us reach our goal. There is still time — can I count on your help today?
Let's seize this moment to make a lasting difference for all those who may benefit from new and emerging Alzheimer's treatments, while continuing to offer care and support and advance critical research. Join us in our $600,000 Matching Gift Challenge today.
Sincerely,
Donna McCullough
Chief Mission and Field Operations Officer
P.S. Time is running out, so please act now while you can have your first gift matched. Together, we can make an even greater impact in the fight against Alzheimer's.
