Have you heard the news? The Mecklenburg County Young Republicans ARE BACK!
You know what else is back? School!
That’s right! Schools across the State are getting ready to start their 2023-2024 school year. In light of this, the Mecklenburg County Young Republicans wanted to take this opportunity to talk about school choice. Joining us will be Kaitlyn Shepherd, who is the Policy Analyst for the Center for Effective Education, John Locke Foundation.
In this meeting we will focus on what the North Carolina General Assembly is doing on the issue of school choice. We will also be myth busting some of the common points made by opponents of school choice. You don’t want to miss this meeting! The meeting will take place on August 22 at Dilworth Grille. Doors open at 6:30, the meeting will start around 7.
