Hello, friends!

Now that Congress has recessed, I have been absolutely LOVING spending
much-needed quality time back home in our wonderful district!

I’ve been traveling throughout the Sacramento region, meeting with
constituents, neighbors, and local leaders discussing the future of our
district. Nothing brings me more joy and pride than seeing all the incredible
things we’ve been able to accomplish together!

But despite enjoying my work in-district this month, I’m aware of just how
much we need to get done in D.C. this Fall, specifically –Congress has yet to
come up with a plan to keep our government funded and functioning.

Infighting among the GOP-held House has once again caused dysfunction and
jeopardized the operations of the federal government with a shutdown. Shutdowns
threaten care for America’s veterans, access to Social Security and Medicare,
and much more. That’s why I’m committed to finding bipartisan solutions when
Congress reconvenes.

Can you rush in $30 to help me remain in Congress to continue being a champion
for the American people?
