The Unz Review Digest - February 21, 2020
Analysis and speculation on the coronavirus outbreak in China heavily dominated this last week’s most popular features, with a lengthy and highly controversial article gathering nearly as much readership as the next four most popular pieces combined. That 15,000 word piece, produced by an unnamed American ex-pat living in China, provided an enormous wealth of circumstantial evidence that the deadly virus that has shut down so much of China’s economy represents a human-engineered biowarfare attack against that country, with elements of the U.S. government being the obvious suspect. In particular, the writer notes that this highly-contagious viral outbreak fatal to humans was preceded in the previous two years by devastating viral outbreaks that destroyed much of China’s pig farming industry, the same source of domestic meat, and China’s chicken industry. As might be expected, this controversial thesis attracted an outpouring of more than 500 comments, totaling over 80,000 words. Meanwhile, our sixth most popular by writer Lance Welton, noted the growing evidence that the coronavirus is far more lethal to Chinese and other East Asians than to whites, which may raise further suspicions regarding its origins.
Ranking second was a column by Paul Kersey, noting the absurd focus of the new black Police Commissioner in violence-plagued Baltimore, seemingly more interested in emphasizing her race and gender than in solving the severe problems in that city
Just behind was Laurent Guyenot lengthy analysis of the role played by Karl Marx’s Jewish ancestry in influencing his ideological directions, with some indications that Marxism may have been tailored to deflect leftist criticism away European Jews despite their dominant role in finance and the banking industry.
Finally, rounding out our most popular features were two columns by Philip Giraldi, one focused on the unwillingness of our media to point the correct finger of blame on the devastating conflict in Syria, and the other noting the considerable number of U.S. citizens killed or tortured by Israel over the years, with those incidents largely ignored or covered-up by our overwhelmingly pro-Israel media.
[Portions of this article were drawn from various sources as cited. However, additional portions seem to have been quoted from Larry Romanoff at Global Research without proper citation.] It does seem farfetched, doesn’t it? That the United States will risk World War III, using nuclear weapons, by launching a coronavirus inside China during the 2020...

Homicides are up 26 percent in 2020 Philadelphia. But this is of little concern to the new black female police commissioner of Philadelphia. In a recent article, I explored the influence of Freud’s Jewishness on the formation, reception and propagation of his psychoanalytical theory. I wish now to do the same for Karl Marx (1818-1883). In contrast to Freud’s, Marx’s Jewishness is seldom considered an important factor. If you type “Freud Jewish” as key-words on Amazon.com, you will...

It's everyone's fault except the U.S. and Israel
The first week in February was memorable for the failed impeachment of President Donald Trump, the “re-elect me” State of the Union address and the marketing of a new line of underwear by Kim Kardashian. Given all of the excitement, it was easy to miss a special State Department press briefing by Ambassador James Jeffrey...

No one is ever held accountable
One of the principal functions of a United States Embassy overseas is to provide citizen services, which includes coming to the assistance of Americans who are treated badly by the local government. It is a responsibility that most embassies take seriously, with the exception of the facility currently located in Jerusalem. One has to understand...

The relationship between distorted art and ugly behavior is not always obvious, but it is intuitive. As with the ancient Greek comparison of bad poets with bad politics, American society, through the systematic distribution of wealth into the hands of a small group of greedy capitalists and Jews, has the art and leadership of a...

Admittedly the news cycle in the United States seldom runs longer than twenty-four hours, but that should not serve as an excuse when a major story that contradicts what the Trump Administration has been claiming appears and suddenly dies. Do parallel universes exist where history has taken an entirely different course? It’s been a big unanswered question in physics and philosophy for a long time, but I’ve started to wonder whether the Canadian neo-conservative Mark Steyn holds the key. His writing appears in this universe, but he himself appears to be living some or...

Nothing is equal to anything else. In 1904, Jack London traveled from Korea to China. As soon as he crossed the border, he saw what he thought was a much more energetic, resourceful and resilient civilization, Gushing at length over the Chinese, London concludes, “The Korean is the perfect type of inefficiency—of utter worthlessness. It was 1953 in the white newly prosperous suburbs of Arlington, Virginia, just outside the Yankee Capital. The New York Times’ assault on white Americans, about which I wrote yesterday ( ), is not unique to the New York Times. Of course, borders are sexual, at least for men, for you’re about to enter a normally forbidden territory. This buildup, anxiety and euphoria is lessened if the border is a mere formality, or if you have a strong (and stiff enough) passport. For women, border crossers can promise adventure, for they may deliver you to...

It seems like we woke up one day to find that, out of nowhere, distinguishing between male and female has become illegal. In defiance of intuition, common sense and 3rd grade biology, a number of liberal plutocracies like Canada and the United Kingdom have legislated to force-feed their subjects the doctrine of transgenderism, which contrary...
