URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Don’t let Formosa Plastics build a destructive
petrochemical plant in Cancer Alley! Take action now! >>

Along the iconic Mississippi River, there is a toxic stretch of industrial
complexes that not only ruins the beautiful natural setting but also severely
harms the nearby people, wildlife, AND ecosystems. Overrun by Big Plastic and a whopping 200+ petrochemical factories and refineries , this stretch of industrial activity releases so much toxic pollution that
it’s known as CANCER ALLEY.
Now, Formosa Plastics wants to build MASSIVE 2,400-acre industrial complex , so dangerous that it’s not allowed to operate in Taiwan — where Formosa’s own headquarters are located!
We can still STOP this catastrophic corporate megaproject from moving forward— but only if we can persuade President Biden to REVOKE the factory’s construction permit. Please, Friend, it’s
going to take at least 3,912 more activists to speak up by 11:59 P.M. TONIGHT to build enough public pressure on time. Will you add your name right away before it’s too late?

[[link removed]]Friend, it’s no secret how much harm the PLASTIC CRISIS is already having on our planet. Plastic waste is not only overwhelming our
oceans and KILLING valuable marine life, but toxic microplastics are CONTAMINATING everything from the water we drink, the food we eat, and the air we breathe.
Meanwhile, the production of plastic itself is terrible for people and the
planet. The manufacturing process burns through large amounts of fossil fuels and releases global-warming emissions that exacerbate the climate crisis. These destructive production facilities, which are predominantly located in
low-wealth communities and communities of color, spew out dirty petrochemical pollution that’s been linked to cancer, respiratory damage, brain problems, and heart issues.
But Formosa Plastics is willing to put public health and our planet at risk —
all for the sake of profit. Will you sit by and let Big Plastic further harm the people, wildlife, and
ecosystems of Louisiana, Friend? Or will you speak up today to ensure that this disastrous megaproject is
stopped before it’s too late? SIGN NOW: Tell President Biden to REVOKE Formosa Plastics’ permit and STOP the
construction of this monstrous petrochemical plant! >>
