In the face of all of these trials, the Lord makes His power perfect

Celebrating 50 years of saving lives!
John, I am blown away by your incredible impact with Texas Right to Life as I reflect on our organization's 50th birthday.

According to the world’s reasoning, there was no way our movement could accomplish all that we have over the last five decades.

Yet, this is exactly how the Lord showed His strength.

However, I cannot take my mind off of the thousands of children whose lives are still stolen by leftists’ evil and creative new tactics:

🔴 Mailing illegal abortion pills directly to pregnant women’s homes and dorm rooms;

🔴 Trafficking illegal abortion pills across our border; and

🔴 Refurbishing a cargo ship to commit abortions on a boat in the Gulf of Mexico.

With all of these threats, I think about the Apostle Paul, who while following the Lord’s calling on his life faced endless trials of shipwrecks, persecution, betrayals, imprisonments, beatings, stonings, death threats, and plots from religious and political leaders.

Yet, when he reflected on all those hardships, Paul told the Christians in Corinth that when he prayed his trials would be resolved, the Lord told him “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:8-9)
In this new chapter as Texas Right to Life marks our 50th birthday, the odds are against us once again. Politicians, the media, and Hollywood are viciously determined to undo our work to protect preborn children.

Yet, you and Texas Right to Life will continue to spread the message of LIFE in these new trials, not because we are powerful, but because we know that this is the necessary work that the Lord has called us to.
