Dear Friend,

The VA announced today that veterans and survivors can apply or submit an intent to file for PACT Act benefits by 11:59pm ET on Monday, August 14, 2023 will be eligible to have their benefits backdated to August 10, 2022.

Veterans and survivors can apply or submit their intent to file for PACT Act benefits at VA.gov/PACT.

This extension will ensure that no veteran will miss out on a day of backdated PACT Act benefits.

As a wife and sister to U.S. veterans, protecting veterans benefits and services is personal to me. That is why I was proud to vote for the PACT Act last year which became law to  expand and improve the VA’s ability to provide care to 3.5 million U.S. veterans who were exposed to burn pits and other dangerous toxins during their time of service.
