CNN: Texas’ abortion restrictions – some of the strictest in the country – may be fueling a sudden spike in infant mortality as women are forced to carry nonviable pregnancies to term.

The deadly consequences of oppressive abortion bans in places like Texas are horrifying, but they’re not the least bit surprising, John.

States that restrict or outlaw abortions and punish women and doctors are not “saving lives” — they’re actually causing irreparable harm, and the facts back that claim up.

Republican attacks on reproductive rights are only getting worse, which means the first step toward protecting access to safe and legal abortion is to defeat the GOP at every turn.
