One year ago today, President Biden signed the PACT Act into law -- and I couldn’t be more grateful for the work we did together to make that possible.

The PACT Act is the biggest expansion of VA health care and benefits in decades, and helps millions of Veterans who may have been exposed to harmful toxins gain access to life-saving health care services and benefits.

It wasn’t easy to get this bipartisan legislation over the finish line in the Senate and onto the president’s desk. But I’m so glad we got this done -- because our Veterans deserve nothing less.  

As a combat Veteran myself who still uses the VA for my own health care, I know firsthand how essential the VA is in providing health care and resources to those who have served and sacrificed for our country. The PACT Act ensures that millions of Veterans returning home with serious health conditions have access to the care they need.
