That's why MoveOn has partnered with the Maui Community Power Recovery Fund to raise money to help disaster relief and recovery efforts.

Dear MoveOn member,

Fast-moving wildfires are wreaking havoc in Hawai'i, destroying hundreds of homes, forcing the evacuations of thousands, and taking the lives of at least 36 people.1

Hawai'i needs our help—now.

That's why MoveOn has partnered with the Maui Community Power Recovery Fund to raise money to help disaster relief and recovery efforts.

Will you chip in $3 today to help Hawai'i? 100% of your donation will go to immediate relief efforts to house, feed, and support displaced families and also to provide resources for the long-term efforts to rebuild and advance structural change.

A spokesperson for the Hawai'i Emergency Management Agency said on Wednesday, "We still got people in danger. We still have people who don't have homes. We still have people who can't find their loved ones."2

And the town of Lahaina, which was once the capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom and has significant historic and cultural importance to the Kānaka Maoli Indigenous Hawaiian people, has been burned to the ground, leaving thousands homeless.

Will you make a $3 donation today to the Maui Community Power Recovery Fund? 100% of your contribution will go directly to providing critical aid to the people of Hawai'i.

MoveOn members have always come together during times of crisis to support people in need of emergency aid.

When hundreds of civilians were killed after Vladimir Putin ordered the Russian military to launch airstrikes and an on-the-ground military invasion of Ukraine, MoveOn members rushed to action, donating half a million dollars to United Help Ukraine.

After Afghanistan's medical facilities were being pushed to the limit as the number of people killed and wounded increased dramatically, MoveOn members contributed over $500,000 to Doctors Without Borders to save lives and treat patients.

And after Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans and displaced tens of thousands of people, MoveOn members opened the doors to their very own homes to provide shelter.

MoveOn members often respond with powerful collective action in facing crises from Nepal to Haiti to Syria to our own border with Mexico.

Today, our priority is raising funds for the people who are being directly impacted in Hawai'i.

If you are able, please rush a $3 emergency donation to Maui Community Power Recovery Fund to support relief and recovery efforts in Hawai'i.

Thanks for all you do.
