When Tina became Governor, she vowed to be a Governor for ALL Oregonians. 

It’s what drives her. It’s why she’s determined to visit every county in the state in her first year in office — she wants to hear from folks about what she can do to make life a little better. 

Visiting every county in the state means she’ll even visit some places that didn’t vote for her last November – but that’s sort of the point. Tina’s committed to listening to and learning from everyone, no matter their political affiliation. 

Her dedication isn’t going unnoticed, either. A recent editorial in the East Oregonian praised Governor Kotek for coming through their part of the state and listening. The author wrote: “When someone actually makes the effort to visit our towns and cities and listens, credit has to be given where credit is due.”

Tina will never turn her back on those who disagree with her. Her administration is about collaboration and problem-solving, and that’s the way it’s going to stay.
