Dear friend,
Last month, we finished up our Autism Campus Inclusion (ACI) Summer Leadership Academy, and sent our 2023 cohort back to their campuses armed with knowledge and strategies to make change on their campus and in their communities. This was our fourth virtual program and our thirteenth overall. After nine days of workshops and training sessions, we took the students to meet virtually with their elected officials on the Hill to advocate about policies important to our community!
Believe it or not, we’re already planning for 2024’s program; implementing changes from student feedback, dusting off the application materials, and building partnerships with diverse partners who will help us reach our next cohort. We also keep in touch with all of our alumni with check-ins to support their goals and connect them with resources. In the year to come, we’ll be busy ensuring that the next generation of advocates and activists are supported in all their pursuits.
All these efforts are only possible thanks to your help. Can we count on your support? There are so many great, easy ways to get involved:
-
Consider a recurring donation -- our fun membership program makes it easy, plus we thank you for your support with exclusive perks! You can also give the gift of a membership. Make a donation in someone’s name today.
-
Show your support with our merchandise. We have everything from skateboards to blankets and everything in between!
-
Share our work with your friends and family, or on social media. The more people hear about us, the more people our resources can reach.
-
Consider supporting ASAN with a monetary gift. Donations are tax deductible.
-
Start a Facebook Fundraiser! This is a great way to support us if you’re not able to give yourself, as there’s no need to contribute to your own fundraiser, just share with your friends.
By supporting ASAN, you make our work like Autism Campus Inclusion possible — and together, we can keep making change for years to come!
Sincerely,
The team at ASAN
