John,
This week holds a special place in my heart: One year ago yesterday, I was honored to become Vermont’s Democratic nominee for Congress. Even now, a year later, I am astonished and moved by our victory and that I am now your congresswoman!
While we’re gearing up for another competitive primary, far-right Republicans are attacking me for calling them out. I’m working hard for Vermonters, but I need your help to ensure I can continue fighting for our communities in Congress. Will you support my re-election campaign with a contribution today?
I am a former school teacher from Brattleboro, Vermont. I am the grandchild of a Holocaust victim, the child of working-class parents, the mother of two amazing children Abe and Sarah, and a wife to my wonderful partner, Elizabeth.
I never dreamed that I would see myself represented in Congress, let alone actually be a member of Congress. But at every turn, this team has given me hope beyond measure, affirming my core belief that change IS possible.
This victory wasn’t easy, and as we head into another election year, we’re going to face more uphill battles. When we turn towards each other with love and hope in our hearts, we can do anything. We can change the way we do politics. And we can change our country.
This team is proof of that.
John, as I reflect on our victory a year ago, I’m filled with gratitude for your support, your time, your donations, your vote, and your trust that have gotten me to where I am today. As I gear up for another tough election cycle, I hope you’ll consider supporting my re-election campaign.

We’ve created so much change already, but there’s still work to do, and I’m not done yet.
Thank you,
Becca Balint
