Since 2010, at least 149 hospitals have closed or converted to another provider, and a newly proposed bill could make that number even larger. 

Proposed legislation in the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee could lead to hospital closures across the country and limit access to essential services that patients need, particularly impacting rural communities.
