John – 38 years in prison and 148 lashes. This is the price to pay for defending women’s rights in Iran.

Nasrin Soutudeh, an award-winning human rights lawyer, recently received this sentence. Her crime? She dared speak out against Iran’s laws forcing women to wear the hijab.
