Team,

Exactly one year ago today, President Biden signed the PACT Act into law.

This was a historic step toward supporting our servicemembers. The PACT Act marks the largest expansion of benefits and services for veterans exposed to toxins in more than 30 years — which the DOD says could help as many as 3.5 million people.

I have seen the effects of being exposed to burn pits and toxic chemicals. Soldiers I served alongside in Iraq and Afghanistan need care — which is why I pushed hard to pass this legislation.

Unfortunately, not everyone agrees.

Extremist Republicans, including Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene, refused to vote for the PACT Act — even while they praise our veterans on Twitter.

It’s not just this legislation either. MAGA Republicans have shown time and time again that they’re willing to put party over people — even at the expense of our veterans.

Donald Trump calling servicemembers who’ve died in war “suckers'' and “losers.” House Republicans hijacking a bipartisan defense bill to insert their right-wing agenda. Our servicemembers deserve better than to be used as political pawns.

I'm ready to continue working with Brittany Pettersen to give our fellow veterans the respect, care, and benefits they fought for. Will you split $10 between our campaigns to help us continue this work in Congress?

It is our solemn responsibility to care for our country’s servicemembers. I will never stop fighting for those who served our country, because they never stopped fighting for us.

Thank you,

— Jason Crow
