Most Granite Staters were under a heat advisory last week, and we’re far from the only ones. July was officially the hottest month on record. CNN reported we just experienced the hottest three-week period in the past 120,000 years on Earth.

One thing is clear: Climate action is an imperative for the Granite State. Here in New Hampshire, our way of life and economy are rooted in our natural surroundings, and scientists have made clear the cost of climate inaction.

That’s why Chris will always fight to protect our environment. Last year Chris helped pass the single largest investment in climate and energy in American history – the Inflation Reduction Act. This historic law is already helping us reduce emissions, invest in green infrastructure, and protect New Hampshire's precious environment. But we still have a long way to go.
